The Lincoln 7 was the first car produced by the Lincoln Motor Company. It was built from 1921 through 1927. It was a very expensive car with a priced of $3800 when a typical Model-T Ford cost $345.
The coachwork on this vehicle was completed for the Anderson’s by George McNear of Brookline MA. It is once of the few McNear bodied cars to have survived. This car featured suicide doors which were built at the time to allow entry and exit of the car without snagging clothing on the door hinges. The wheels and spokes are made from black walnut. The car is powered by a 5.9L V-8 motor capable of 90HP which allowed the car to reach a top speed of 80 MPH.
The car’s nickname was “The Emamcipator’.
