Juris Mindenbergs, of Redmond Washington, bought this '84 Corvette as a stock vehicle in 1986 and then modified it for use at the Bonneville Salt Plains. The car hit a top speed of 221.04 MPH in 1988 with a two way average of 266.45 MPH which set a record in the AA-GT Class.
The car has been referred to as 'the world's fastest Corvette'. Hot Rod Magazine referred to the car as "one of the ten most awesome race cars of the '80's". The car is naturally aspirated and runs on gasoline and is capable of 780HP.
