Lola B2K/10 (2000).
Lola built only seven of these cars over a two year period. This is car #HU-03 which happens to be one of the three cars that B2K/10's that Lola built in 2000. The car was bought by Champion Motorsports and raced during the 2000 and 2001 seasons. The car has a full carbon fiber monocoque body and is powered by a Porsche 3.6L, twin turbocharged, flat 6 cylinder motor which is hooked up to a 6-speed sequential gearbox. The car also features a Formula 1 derived suspension.
Drivers who teamed up to race the car included Andy Wallace, Hurley Haywook, Sascha Maassen, Lucas Luhr, and Bob Wollek. The car struggle during the two seasons that Champion Motorsports raced the car and by the end of the 2001 season, the car was sold to another racing team. The car has since been fully restored to its 2000-01 Champion Racing livery.
