Talbot-Lago was formed in 1936 by Anthoy Lago after the collapse of Sunbeam-Talbot-Darracq.

This perfectly proportioned car was designed by an artist, Joseph Figoni. The Talbot-Lago T150 C-SS was presented at the 1937 Paris Motorshow where it earned the nickname of goutte d'eau (drop of water). The C-SS was the top of the line T150. They were built from 1937 to 1939. During that period of time, a total of 14 T150 C-SS were produced. The Talbot-Lago T150 C-SS has a 4.0L, in-line, 6 cylinder motor capable of 170HP. The motor has three Stromberg carburetors. Top speed is 115 MPH.

This particular Talbot-Lago T150 C-SS won "best in show" at the 2016 Goodwood Festival of Speed where it was described as "the most elegant car in the world". A similar Talbot-Lago T150 C-SS sold for over $4.6 million at the 2010 Concours D'Elegance.

In 1959, Talbot-Lago was taken over by Simca.
